CDC invites you to this Facilitated Open Forum:
- 'From Isolation to Community' - Deepening the Dialogue (2)

Date:          Thursday,12thFebruary  2009
Venue:        Brighthelm Community Centre, North Road, Brighton
Time:          6.30 – 9.30pm
( refreshments  light food and drink)

We welcome both previous and new participants to attend this follow up Open Forum ( from the 1st forum on ‘Isolation to Community’ 04/12/08, whose focus was on matters of isolation, exclusion and violence)

The next forum, is an opportunity to deepen that dialogue together: focusing on our concerns re pressing diversity issues. The process supports and assists interaction of all voices and styles, even ones we find most disturbing. We can expect that strong feelings may be expressed and be supported as well as other voices. Exploring more deeply, for example, the parts that have been unexpressed, or that are tense, can allow the inherent wisdom in the group to emerge. It can assist increased understanding, awareness of diversity and deeper inclusion of community. Thus, opportunities may arise to apply this learning and awareness in action: in our organisation, community and in our own hearts.
