Comment:

"The Brighton Source is a free what's on magazine covering music, clubs, pubs, comedy, film, theatre and food as well as comprehensive day-by-day listings. We also feature interviews with local characters and articles on everything from the local skateboard scene to top summer drinking haunts. The Brighton Source was founded in 1998.
Distribution : 15,000 copies of The Brighton Source are distributed in almost 400 venues (including clubs, pubs, shops and cafés) on the first day of every month.Additional copies are printed for one-off events such as the Freshers' Fair in October."

from the FAQ:

"When is the SOURCE out?
It’s out on the 1st of every month, except for January when we hibernate in a sea of lukewarm Resolve. Be quick though – it can go quickly, especially when the students are in town.

Where can I pick up SOURCE?
Pretty much in every pub, bar, café, record shop and cool clothes shop in the Brighton & Hove area. If you’re struggling try Rounder (Brighton Sq) or Resident (Kensington Gardens).

How do I get editorial?
Well, the first thing is we need to know about your event or release in time. If it happens at any time in, say, June we need to know about it by 2nd May. That might sound early but that’s the way we roll. Then we just have to love it – or think our readers will love it – enough to put it to the top of our massive pile of suggestions.

How to I get my night/gig in the listings?
Easy – just email the details (venue, name, DJs/acts playing, times, costs, type of music) to listings@brightonsource.co.uk by the 15th of the month before."
