As the world wakes up to the reality of climate change, so too are corporate-led methods of dealing with it. Speaker James O'Nions will give a workshop on the thorny issues of carbon trading / offsetting, and asking whether increasing our use of biofuels is really the best way forward for a post-oil future. There'll also be an opportunity to have a cup of tea and make contact with representatives from Brighton-based businesses, campaigners and interested members of the public who want to discuss how we can all work together to bring about effective government action in leading the way to a low carbon economy. £Free
