Save Omar Writing Workshop and Activists' Workshop

The Save Omar group is asking all our supporters to continue campaigning against Guantanamo Bay and the abuse of human rights that has accompanied the so called "war on terror." Our writing workshop (2pm to 4pm)  is a chance to spend some time writing to the remaining detainees to let them know they are not forgotten and to keep up the pressure on politicians to act to release them.  It is followed by an activists' workshop (4pm-5pm) when we hope to share ideas about taking action against Guantanamo, rendition flights, and the 'secret jails' where the worst forms of torture are practiced.
