Transition Brighton and Hove general meeting
When - Wednesday 30. January from 7:30pm until 9:30 pm .
Where - The Werks 45 Church Road, off Palmeira Sq, Hove (between barber and antique shop opposite the church on the SW corner of the square) (find it on a map) .

Purpose and Agenda
1. Introductions – purpose, people and ground rules for the meeting (10 mins)
2. DVD screening – Rob Hopkins on Transition Towns and Energy Descent Action Plans – for education and awareness raising, and to build shared understanding (20 mins).
3. Update from Transition Interest Groups (about 2 mins each – 25 mins) – to inform others of their activities, to encourage participation and to co-ordinate their activities with other groups and the hub.
Plus a reminder of Transition Interest Group tasks and projects for 08: get data on current state of Brighton & Hove, prepare for our Energy Descent and Resilience Action Plan, build local connections, and initiate a project in each group. (5 mins)
4. Group discussions – Vision for 08: where would we like TBH to be by the end of this year? Break into groups to share ideas, followed by feedback from groups and Hub’s responses to questions. To be collated and put on website. Include ideas from the Transition Interest Groups and feed ideas back to them (45 mins)
5. Key elements of the 08 Programme – upcoming events and initiatives. (10 mins)
